Jonathan Groth is a partner at Miami based law firm, DGIM Law, focusing on receivership and insolvency litigation, bankruptcy and creditors’ rights, complex business litigation, securities litigation, and fraud litigation. He brings extensive expertise in managing complex legal and financial issues.
Jonathan has experience in all phases of receivership and related insolvency proceedings at the large federal equity level and in state driven civil commercial cases. He acts as counsel to fiduciaries including receivers, assignees, and trustees and also represents creditors and parties affected by insolvency proceedings. Jonathan further represents clients in high-stakes matters, including consumer and investor fraud, malpractice, real estate and securities disputes, and commercial litigation. His experience covers both local and global corporate environments, providing a unique legal perspective.
In addition to his legal work, Jonathan serves his community as the Mayor and Commissioner of the Village of Biscayne Park. He has received an AV Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell and recognition from Best Lawyers in America.
Jonathan earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Connecticut and his law degree with honors from Nova Southeastern University, where he received multiple Dean’s List distinctions and served as an editor for the Journal of International and Comparative Law.
